iSchool, an Egyptian ed-tech startup founded in 2018 by Mohamed Algawish, Mustafa Abdulmoneim, and Ibrahim Abdullah, has secured $4.5 million in funding led by VentureWave Capital from Ireland. Other investors include OneStop Capital UK, Webit Investment Network, and Oraseya Capital. The funding will fuel iSchool’s expansion across six more countries in the Middle East and North Africa, with plans to extend services to Sub-Saharan Africa and establish a team in Ireland.

iSchool offers live and on-demand classes in English and Arabic, focusing on robotics, coding, and artificial intelligence for students aged 6 to 18. The platform addresses the lack of technology education in the MENA region, with a mission to empower future technology leaders.

Currently, iSchool has over 26,000 live learners, delivering over a million training hours and facilitating the writing of over 10 million lines of code. The company has collaborated with 35 schools and is involved in national-level initiatives in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
